I cut a paper plate in half and let them paint it green. After it was dry we drew eyes and a mouth. Then we traced each child hands and used those for the frogs back feet!
We glued strips of paper that I accordion folded to the frog then the feet/hand tracings. Then we made his front feet and glued them on. They are so cute!!

Frogs on lily pads
I cheated and used a coloring sheet I found here for the frog. I just had the kiddos color it. We made some lily pads. I had Big sis cut out her frog but I did the toddlers. Then we glued the frog onto the lily pad.Fingerprint or Rainbow fish
So easy! Cut out a fish shape then give the kiddos some paint and just have them dip one finger at a time and dot it on their fish. We had some friends over today and everyone's fish turned out great!!Koi fish
I just folded about a 2 in section over onto the rest of the paper then folded the whole thing in half. Then I cut a triangle at the other end. Gave the kiddos orange and yellow paint. We then cut a muffin cup in half and glued it on for the fin. After they dried I drew an eye!
For water play this week we made a frog pond in the water table.
I took some craft foam and made lily pads and the frogs. I intended to buy some plastic frogs but that did not happen.
For fine motor we played with moon dough and used chop sticks to pick up pompoms.

Th kiddos had fun and it was great fine motor practice. I got the chop stick holders at Noodles! The holders are so wonderful.
